The Baron’s Cage stems from Bruno Queirós’ determination, a young entrepreneur who, wishing to build something original and innovative in the fashion business, enters the footwear market, launching a high-quality brand, 100% made in Portugal, aimed at men who ally eccentricity to creativity and good taste.

A Barcelos native, in the North of Portugal, from very early on he felt his path would include the capital; without ever losing sight of the dream of kick-starting his own business, he began his professional career as a model. He has been signed by one of the best modelling agencies in Milan, has been featured on the cover of Men’s Health magazine in 2012 and has appeared on the catwalk for countless renowned brands and designers in Portugal, over fashion weeks, at events such as ModaLisboa and Portugal Fashion.

By allying his great passion for shoes with all the experience in the fashion world, Bruno Queirós started doing some market research looking to enhance a strong entrepreneurship-prone quality of his. After assessing some options, he soon realized that he would have to make his own path, and so, in November 2016 he launched his own brand — The Baron’s Cage: an innovative Portuguese brand of eccentric and modern shoes for the men’s segment, focusing on trendy models aimed at determined gentlemen who wish to make their image stand out.

The growing success of this brand of footwear has ever since been happening both with the (already) many customers and appearances in fashion events, as has been the case with ModaLisboa and Portugal Fashion.

Bruno Queirós views himself as a firm entrepreneur with the proper amount of ambition so as to take his brand even further, to conquer new segments and even launch new projects. ‘Step into the extraordinary’ is his motto and also the challenge he suggests to the Portuguese barons.
